Cantina Indigeno
Abruzzo, Italy

Cantina Indigeno make Wild Wine, near Teramo, in the Abruzzo region of Central Italy, using Indigenous yeasts and spontaneous fermentation. One of the most innovative wine producers in Italy, they create low intervention cuvées using mostly local Montepulciano and Trebbiano grapes.

Launched in 2016 by four friends, Nicola Reginaldi, Alfredo Giugno, Loreto Lamolinara and Fabio Petrella, their organically managed vineyard uses biodynamic preparations, with wines relying exclusively on spontaneous fermentation, without temperature control, sulfites or other additions.
